Neuroinformatics aims to enable integration of this data across all levels and scales of neuroscience to help understand the brain and treat disease: Thus, Neuroinformatics entails the development of standards and infrastructure for data acquisition, storage, provenance, sharing, publishing, analysis, visualization, modeling and simulation.
