Help: How can I make a recording without an internet connection?
On select platforms, currently Android, iOS, Maemo and MeeGo, it is possible to save a recording to the phone and upload it to Bambuser at a later time when internet connectivity is available.
iPhone
- Launch the Bambuser app.
- Toggle the switch labeled 'live' to 'rec'.
- Press the record button to start recording. When you are done recording, press it once more to stop recording.
- The upload badge now indicates that you have a new recording to be uploaded. Navigate to the list of items to upload by pressing the button where the upload badge resides.
- Before you begin uploading your broadcast, you can edit the title and private/public-setting by tapping on the upload item. Once upload has been started, these settings can only be edited on your dashboard page when uploading is complete.
- Tap on the upload-button to start uploading your recording to bambuser.com

Android
- Launch the Bambuser app.
- Bring up the menu and switch to "Offline mode"
- Press the record button to start recording offline.
- When you are done recording, press stop. The upload badge now indicates that you have a new recording to upload.
- Navigate to the list of unsent data by pressing the Upload-button.
- You can edit the title, username and private/public-setting of before you start uploading your broadcasts. When upload of a broadcast has been started once, these settings can no longer be edited in the app, but can be edited on your dashboard page when the upload is complete.
- You can choose whether to upload all unsent data at once or just a particular broadcast.
