Making More of Mobile

University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory in the UK is holding a workshop to find ways to improve Internet while mobile. 10:00am-17:00pm UK time

This will be a technical workshop/seminar/conference to look at sharing information to see how to achieve better performance for the mobile wireless user by looking at a variety of technical improvements, including bonding and merging of services through a range of techniques at all layers of the protocol stack.

The outcome should be to evaluate user, technical or business barriers, and if so, how they can be overcome. Stakeholders from industry (equipment and service providers, as well as the measurement community), academia, regulators and users are invited.

The goal is to mix these technology companies, researchers and ideas together covering the three obvious broad themes:

• Technology
• Users Applications and security/trust
• Business Ranging from "free" to paid-for multi-SIM operation
