ASK - Ain o Salish Kendra, the Secreteriat for the Human Rights forum in Bangladesh - a coalition of 19 human rights and development organisations are meeting to share a draft report of the Universal Periodic Review report which is to be submitted to the UN Human Rights Council in May 2013.

The draft UPR Report will be preseted by Sara Hossein, Member of the Steering Committee, Human Rights Forum Bangladesh

Special guest, Chairman of NHRC, Mizanur Rahman will be speaking as well as feedback from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Closing Remarks by the Convenor Advocate Sultana Kamal.

In 2009, recommendations were made by the UN human rights council - this meeting will be reviewing the efforts which have been made since then.

The event is being held in LGED Bhaban, Dhaka.
