This is why more people need to see what has been happening in Syria.

This happened months before the Houla massacre.

And because nothing was done, it made it possible for many other massacres to occur.

At this point, I have little hope that the world is going to help stop the violence.

The only thing to be hoped for is food and medical aid for refugees and some internal aid for people in the worst hit areas.

The UN is made up of people who only react when powerful people's interests are affected.

Easy to say. Tell that to the children who will be killed today.

Kick foreigners out, put blue helmets on the fighters you can trust and call them a UN Peacekeeping Force!

What I would like for people to do is think what you would want to happen if this was happening to you and your family and your city.

The UN's response so far has been that of people who don't think about what they would do if they lived in Homs.

If your city was being shelled, if your children were being shot by snipers, what would you do? What would you want the UN to do?

The regime has shot at and shelled demonstrations. They've shot mourners at funerals. This happened again today, and has been happening since (at least) February.

EVERY govenment is suspect after Syria!
