Now we are getting the bad rains here

flooded 36 inches the entire half mile of my street.....got rides out in mud buggies and air boats all week

finally got my mustang home yday

Tony was soaked by the time he got into the house.

not as bad as the gulf coast but it was sudden onset here.....with in about 2 hours our street went from nothing to 36 inches of water

even worse is the smell, we are out in the country, septic tanks

yeah it trapped me away from home, had to leave it on the side of the highway and hitch in on an airboat to get home

yeah..... it was rough, had to get up and be gone from the house by 515a everyday to be able to catch rides from the airboats and 4x4s that would ferrying us out

the flooding? yes for my area.... water management finally bailed us out....i think there is one area just south of me that is still impassable

the air smells like......umm.....pooh....... cause all that water also has septic tank stuff in it........very unpleasant

it sat here with stagnat water for almost a week so they are flying insecticide flights over all over of western county all night every night this week

totally right, worst week like ever....... but hey, up side is the house we live in here, had zero leaks and no flood water damage to the structure

it totally sucked but at the same time, the people that had 4x4s and airboats or whatnot, really banded together to look after those that dont......:-)
