I get asked alot as well, and I think that what needs to happen is that we need to come up with a mission statement, basic tactics, and advertise the need for more folks to come out and create solidarity. not scaring folks with revolution talk, but creati

ng the conditions for it to happen.

THE IWW and Sugar Law extend an invite to the occupy anniversary to come and celebrate with us on oct 7th at the mexican fiesta center for world day for decent work/joe hills birthday and occupy anniversary.

we're kind of moving into what the action for the anniversary should be

why would occupy detroit not want to join other organizations - to create a larger scale impact?

especially a union on the ground for 107 years, local branch - and big solidarity component to the movement itself.

I feel that people are interested in finding out what O.D. is up to - and i also feel that it is important for OD to show that it's created connections and ties with other organizations - especially being in southwest, as its homebase for the past 10mos.

Sugar Law and Iww as offered this space for OD to come hold with us, as a team - to creat a condition for solidarity to happen and for folks to come out and find out wahts going on.

Too many abrasive events, teach ins, and actions create fear.

folks are afraid of goverments, losing thier jobs, support structure...

I am saying that its an option for occupy detroit to join forces with other organizaations

and represent, solidarity, moving forward, and being in arms with others with the community, not beign exclusive as OD

but being a brother organization or body if you will,
