Our Story: Pioneering the Future of Interactive Commerce
Bambuser was founded on a singular premise: that video is the most powerful medium for human connection. Since our inception, we have been at the forefront of every major shift in digital broadcast and commerce technology.
The Early Pioneers In 2007, we established our legacy of innovation by broadcasting the world’s first mobile live stream from a Nokia handset. Long before video became the cornerstone of the modern internet, Bambuser was building the high-performance infrastructure required to share the world's most vital moments in real time.
A History of Resilience.
Our platform’s reliability was forged in high-stakes environments. During the Arab Spring, Bambuser’s robust technology served as a critical conduit for information, enabling the transmission of live footage where traditional broadcast methods failed. This period of technical excellence led to a strategic investment and partnership with The Associated Press, solidifying our position as a provider of mission-critical video infrastructure.
Cultural Impact and Visionary Support. The versatility of our technology attracted global icons early in their careers. The legendary artist and producer Avicii utilized Bambuser to stream his debut performances, bridging the gap between the stage and a global audience. Recognizing the transformative potential of our roadmap, he became a key investor, helping to guide our vision of a more connected digital world.
The Evolution into Agentic Commerce. In 2020, we leveraged our decade-plus of broadcast expertise to solve the greatest challenge in retail: the "static" digital shelf. We pivoted to become the world’s leading Video Commerce platform, helping global brands transform transactional e-commerce into immersive, high-converting experiences.
