Longaberger partners with Bambuser to enhance customer experience with live video shopping

Longaberger, an American manufacturer of artisanal handcrafted baskets and lifestyle products, has partnered with Bambuser to bring the live shopping experience to customers at home. Longaberger LIVE will be broadcast monthly.

Founded by Dave Longaberger in 1973, the family has handwoven maplewood baskets for generations. In 2019, brand management and media company Xcel Brands acquired the family-owned company. Xcel Brands relaunched and expanded Longaberger, continuing its legacy.

Longaberger LIVE viewers will have access to exclusive products and one-night-only offers. The brand will also continue to be at the forefront of educating consumers through highly acclaimed hosts and mega-influencers. 

The social commerce retailer predicts significant brand growth after adopting Bambuser’s digital streaming platform. “By honing in on our digital-first approach, we expect that these live stream shows will improve monthly sales by 25 to 33 percent," said Robert W. D'Loren, Xcel's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Rachel Longaberger will host the first-ever Longaberger LIVE show on February 8 through longaberger.com.
