Bambuser offers seamless Single Sign-On (SSO) integration to enhance user authentication and streamline access to the Bambuser platform. Depending on your organization's requirements and existing SSO infrastructure, you can choose from various integration options.

Supported SSO Solutions​

Choose the SSO integration option that best fits your organizational needs, and follow the respective documentation to seamlessly integrate Bambuser with your preferred identity provider.

1. SAML via Okta​

Bambuser supports integration with Okta using the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML). This enables users to log in to the Bambuser platform using their Okta credentials. To implement SSO through Okta, follow the guidelines provided in the SAML via Okta documentation.

2. Microsoft Azure App​

For organizations leveraging Microsoft Azure for identity and access management, Bambuser offers SSO integration through the Azure App. Users can log in to Bambuser using their Azure credentials, providing a unified authentication experience. Explore the implementation details in the Microsoft Azure App SSO documentation.

Recommended option

If you can choose between the Bambuser Microsoft Azure App or Custome SAML via IDP , our recommendation is to go with Microsoft Azure, since this integration leads to a more seamless authentication and onboarding process.

Note: There is a possibility to get fully automated with both solutions by performing your own development of SCIM using the Bambuser public API.

3. Custom SAML​

Bambuser provides flexibility for organizations with custom SAML configurations. If your SSO solution utilizes a custom SAML implementation, you can seamlessly integrate it with Bambuser. Refer to the Custom SAML documentation for step-by-step instructions on setting up custom SSO.
